(Ronnie) McLellan is a life long Florida resident where he was raised
on a dairy farm with his four brothers and one sister in Florahome,
Florida. Ronnie graduated high school and attended Gulf Coast Bible
College in Houston, Texas. In 1972, Ronnie received a honorable discharge
from the Florida National Guard. Ronnie has worked in construction
and agriculture for over 30 years.
Ronnie has been blessed to be married to Joan McLellan for the past
30 years. Together, Ronnie and Joan have raised three children and
two grandchildren.
Ronnie has been in business in Brevard County since 1980, forming
the C.R. McLellan Trucking, and most recently opened the Amish Market
and Deli located in Micco.
Ronnie believes in community outreach and volunteering. Ronnie volunteers
at Homes Regional and Palm Bay Community Hospital. Ronnie volunteers
horses for the handicap and sponsors the Florida Junior and High School
Rodeo.
Ronnie has served the residents of Brevard County by being appointed
to the Brevard County Planning and Zoning, Local Planning 1992-1996,
District 5, 2001-2004 District 4, served as Vice-chair 2003-2004,
2004-Present District 3. Ronnie also serves on the Board of Directors
for the Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce. Ronnie is a lifetime member
of the National Rifle Association and a past member of the Florida
Cattleman Association.
